Mr. Easterling was our CEO for a number of years. He was a strong advocate for education and dedicated to informing our community about the importance of credit unions. Because of his dedication to education and the credit union movement we are proud to offer the CPM Federal Credit Union Easterling Memorial Scholarship. Each year we award multiple scholarships!

Submission Criteria:

• Candidates may be of any major and must be full-time students entering their Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year of college.
• Candidates must be a CPM member or the child of a member.
• Previous scholarship recipients may reapply, but winning essays from prior years cannot be reused or resubmitted.
• Essays that are off-topic, plagiarized, or primarily generated by AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) will not be accepted and the applicant will be disqualified.
  • While AI tools may be used for reference, no more than 50% of the essay content may be AI-generated.
• Failure to submit transcripts or other required documentation may result in the disqualification.
• Candidate must agree to have their name and picture published in CPM communications, as applicable.
