Notice of Change or Addition To
Terms of Membership Account Agreement and Disclosure
April 2026
The credit union has updated your Membership Account Agreement and Disclosure, effective April 1, 2026, to address increases in fraud, technology updates, and to improve clarity. Please review the Agreement in full. If you would like a printed copy, you can request one at any of our 11 branch locations.
While minor wording changes may appear throughout the Agreement, this Change of Terms notice highlights the additions and updates that are taking effect.
ACH Deposits May Be Posted Early
It is our practice to post ACH deposits on the day we receive the posting information, even if this occurs before the official settlement date (the date CPM receives funds). While we may be able to post ACH deposits a day or more early, this is subject to several factors, including actions by third parties beyond our control. CPM does not guarantee that ACH deposits will be posted prior to their settlement dates, and past experiences of early posting should not be relied upon for future ACH deposits.
ACH Deposits May Be Subject to Investigation and Holds
NACHA rules governing ACH transactions require financial institutions to implement risk-based monitoring for potential fraud. This includes both unauthorized transactions and those made under false pretenses. As part of this process, CPM may place holds on ACH deposits to investigate potential fraud or suspicious activity. These holds typically last 1–2 days but may extend longer if necessary.
