CPM Federal Credit Union was founded in 1955 by employees of the Charleston Paper Mill. We started in something pretty humble in an old construction shed with a simple mission: provide affordable loans, deliver exceptional service, and improve the financial well-being of Mill employees and their families.
A lot has changed since then, but our purpose hasn’t. Today, CPM has grown to more than $675 million in assets, earned national recognition for financial strength, and proudly serves over 65,000 members across the communities we call home.
