Mortgage Processor
Location(s): North Charleston
Responsible for providing clerical support to the mortgage department. Receives, evaluates, and reviews loan applications. Obtains/verifies necessary information, prepares documents for underwriting and closing review, communicates loan status to all involved parties including buyer, seller, realtor and title company representatives, obtains proof of insurance as required on mortgage loans. The successful candidate will have an understanding of mortgage loan processing functions, including FHA/VA and conventional lending as well as knowledge in mortgage related requirements, procedures, and underwriting.
